Meet Our Providers

Andrea Rivera, MSN, RN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner for both Dr. Hyde and Dr. Thomas

Andrea is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) and is nationally accredited by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a  graduate of Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, NC.

 

Diana T. Salter, LAT

Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, & Athletic Injury Care Specialist
Physician Extender for Dr. Thomas

Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Diana relocated to the United States in 1974 and spent her childhood in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She attended Texas State University in San Marcos, graduating in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and secondary education.

As an athletic trainer, Diana has worked with high school, collegiate, Olympic, and professional athletes. She is also a certified Sportsmetric instructor for ACL prevention, as well as a CIC for IMPACT cognitive concussion testing.

Diana joined All-Star Orthopedics after completing five years at Scott & White Healthcare in Round Rock, where she helped develop the Athletic Training Outreach Program and Concussion Center. Her expertise in these fields gives patients and athletes at All-Star Orthopedics the best comprehensive sports medicine care possible. 

Diana has spent her career specializing in the care of athletes through nutrition, injury prevention programs, rehabilitation programs, manual therapy techniques, and core strengthening. She is highly involved in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association (SWATA), Texas State Athletic Trainers’ Association (TSATA), and the Central Texas Athletic Trainers’ Society (CTATS). 

Diana enjoys volunteering for her profession, hosting various clinics for athletic training professionals and high school students, being a site coordinator for collegiate athletic training programs, mentoring, and public speaking engagements. She also helps coordinate first aid care for the Stiletto Stampede for Breast Cancer in the Austin area. 

In her recreational time, Diana enjoys spending time with her family, doting on her two Papillons (Paxton and Hannah), cooking, reading, scuba diving, travelling, exercising, volunteering, and watching sporting events. She is also a member of Celebration Church and feels she has been truly blessed in her life.
